Bronx residents are bracing for another day of sweltering heat. A great option to stay cool is to head to the beach but, its important to stay mindful of the dangerous rip currents.

If caught in one, its important you don't tire yourself out trying to swim against the current.
Instead, swim parallel to the beach until the ocean doesn't feel like it's got a pull on you. Then swim back to shore at an angle letting the waves push you back in.
