The Hutchinson River Restoration Project is looking for volunteers for their upcoming cleanup day.

On Saturday, July 13, at 11:30 a.m., the organization will be holding a cleanup of Turtle Cove.

The organization says in past events they've picked up around 800 pounds of garbage from the Hutchinson River. They want volunteers to come out and help. The goal isn't just cleaning—the hope is the cleanup will be the first step in more understanding and advocacy for the environment and how to take care of it.
