Charges are pending against the son of a man found stabbed to death inside his Brooklyn home, according to police.

Police say they were conducting a wellness check in Dyker Heights Wednesday morning when they say a 26-year-old man at a nearby bagel shop allegedly told them "I just killed my father."

Officer say they then responded to the home where they found the 57-year-old with multiple stab wounds all over his body.

According to police, the victim’s son was taken into custody.

Neighbors say the victim has lived in the home for about 10 years. They say he owned a grocery store in Queens.
