Jewish residents across the Bronx are celebrating Sukkot.
A Sukkah - a temporary place for people to eat, drink and relax - signifies people coming together as one to become stronger and more resilient.
The Sukkah is topped with bamboo leaves and made of canvas. Inside it are food, drinks and chairs for people to sit and take a break from their regular day.
Sukkot is a weeklong holiday that happens every fall and celebrates the harvest, with an emphasis on community and togetherness.
