Maimonides celebrates cancer survivors
Maimonides Medical Center hosted their annual Cancer Survivors Day on Tuesday, honoring former and current patients for their fierce battles against cancer.
Survivors and patients undergoing treatment had their milestones celebrated at the Dyker Beach Golf Course.
"After seeing other ladies that have been cancer-free for 12 years... it makes me feel more confident and it makes me worry less," said cancer survivor Isabella Bardon.
The celebration marked the 17th annual Cancer Survivors Day for the hospital.
