Man caught on camera lighting car on fire in Belmont; other burned cars found nearby

A woman in the Belmont section of the Bronx walked outside to see her car completely torched Thursday morning, and it turns out she wasn't the only one.

A woman in the Belmont section of the Bronx walked outside to see her car completely torched Thursday morning, and it turns out she wasn't the only one.
Multiple residents in the area woke up to their vehicles completely torched.
A resident who wants to remain anonymous sent News 12 a video of a man lighting her car on fire.
He can be seen looking around and within seconds a spark is seen. Fire officials say they responded to a car burning Wednesday around 4 a.m. on Park Avenue and East 183rd Street.
In addition to the Belmont woman’s car, five other cars around the Belmont neighborhood along 186th Street and Washington Avenue were also burned. All of them within blocks away from each other.
Many of the cars burned had TLC license plates.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
