Police arrested a Manhattan man for the fatal shooting of a Soundview man earlier this summer. 

Police say Divine Fredericks was in the back seat of an SUV on July 1 when he began shooting a gun at the two men in the front seat. 

The 23-year-old victim was shot at point blank range in the back of the head.

Fredericks was charged with multiple felonies, including murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
