A man accused of
killing a woman with a screwdriver has now been charged with murder for the second time in connection with the death of his 73-year-old uncle, Owen Dillard.
Both slayings happened weeks ago.
During a court appearance on the first charge, Idris Abdul-Muhaymin reportedly blew a kiss to the victim’s husband, prompting outrage from relatives in the courtroom.
Abdul-Muhaymin’s uncle, a lottery winner, was found dead with stab wounds in his neck in his home on Beekman Avenue.
It is unclear if Dillard’s $50,000 winnings have anything to do with the murder.
Dillard was well liked according to neighbors and family members, and spent his free time driving cars or helping community members.
