A man was punched and hit with a car during an assault in Highbridge on Saturday.

Police say the incident happened inside a building on Ogden Avenue just before 3 p.m. when a 39-year-old man got into an argument with another man and a woman.

The man punched the victim multiple times in the face while the woman hit him with a cart throughout the body. Afterwards, the two ran away from the scene. The victim was taken to BronxCareHealth Systems by EMS and sustained bruises and a laceration to the head. He is expected to be OK.
