Marist College held a special ceremony over the weekend to unveil a Prisoners of War/Missing in Action Chair of Honor in the McCann Arena.
The ceremony was held Sunday during the women’s basketball game.
School officials say the chair is a permanent reminder of Americans who were prisoners of war and those who have not come home.
“Everybody that walks through our lobby into our 3,000-seat arena here really has to go by this chair as an opportunity for people to remember our veterans,” says athletic director Tim Murray.
