Mayor Eric Adams joined Bronx residents in Co-op City on Monday night to talk with New York natives on a wide range of topics.
This public seminar is part of the ongoing "Talk With Eric" series. Adams and other New York City leaders discussed a wide range of topics from the migrant crisis to quality-of-life issues, public safety and youth programming.
“We have to stop with what social media is doing to our children, using algorithms to really control our children,” said Adams. “Part of the plan is to hold these social media companies responsible these platforms responsible.”
The mayor also went beyond local issues to address things such as the solitary confinement bill and the How Many Stops Act that he vetoed last week.
