The Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association, the city’s largest police union, has given a “no confidence” vote for Mayor Bill de Blasio and Police Commissioner James O’Neill.

This latest vote comes after the recent firing of Daniel Pantaleo, the former NYPD officer who was at the center of the death of Eric Garner in 2014.

The vote was approved by nearly 400 delegates.

"Today's votes are an unequivocal indictment of our failed leaders in City Hall and 1 Police Plaza,” says PBA President Patrick Lynch. “For years, Mayor de Blasio has demonized police officers and undermined our efforts to protect our city. For years, Commissioner O'Neill has cravenly acquiesced to the mayor and his anti-cop allies."
