Tuesday is day one of graduation ceremonies for the class of 2021 and 2020 at Molloy College.
The school is hosting an in-person, drive-in ceremony at its Rockville Centre campus through Wednesday.
Students are getting diplomas inside the Madison Theater, with the event livestreamed to giant TVs in the campus parking lot.
During the ceremony at Molloy College, there were 832 undergraduates, 467 master's and 16 doctoral degree recipients.
The graduates are part of the festivities that are being described as a bit of a hybrid of normal ceremonies.
"I think it's really great, I don't think any other campus has done something like this so I'm really excited and I think they did a nice job putting it together," says Jessica Gaimaro.
Last year's graduates will also be honored after the pandemic curbed their graduation celebrations.
