The family of Mohamed Bah held a rally Friday with supporters to fight for justice eight years after his death.

Elected officials, faith leaders and community supporters voiced their demands that they still want from the city.

Bah was shot and killed by NYPD after his mother, Hawa Bah, called an ambulance for mental distress.

Supporters are demanding that the NYPD be removed as first responders to those in crisis or emotional distress.

Bah’s mother says if mental health officers came to her door eight years ago, her son would still be alive.

Protesters and speakers also want to see NYPD defunded and for the city to invest in mental health and other services for communities.

Hawa Bah continues to fight for justice for her son. She is calling on Mayor Bill de Blasio and Police Commissioner Dermot Shea to remove

the officers who shot and killed her son.
