Music industry insiders teach students ins and outs of the business

Students from the Theatre Arts Production Company School, also known as TAPCo, heard from professionals on both the creative and business sides of the industry.

Icons and insiders from the music industry joined students at a Fordham high school on Monday to help prepare aspiring artists for the industry.
The program was done in collaboration with The Sessions, an organization that focuses on educating young artists through empowerment and teaching business skills.
Students from the Theatre Arts Production Company School, also known as TAPCo, heard from professionals like Bronx native Christine Ohlman, of the "Saturday Night Live" band, former Billy Joel drummer Liberty DeVitto, entertainment law attorney Paul Quin and more, gaining valuable information about the creative and business sides of the industry.
This is the fourth time that The Sessions has come to TAPCo, which mainly work with college students.
