Neighbors say they want two roosters removed from an abandoned house in Longwood.
Neighbors say there are at least two roosters in the home, located on Bruckner Boulevard, and that is has been vacant for roughly two years.
According to the Department of Finance website, the city is the last listed owner. Neighbors say they have spotted a man at the house a few times over the years.
The Department of Health tells News 12 The Bronx that owning a rooster is illegal in the city and that it has received multiple complaints about the issue.
The department says its staff is investigating the situation.
