Congratulations to Beverly, an American bison who gave birth to her first calf around noon on Thursday at the Cape May County Park & Zoo.

Bison calves are born sporting an orange coat and can weigh anywhere between 30 and 70 pounds. 

You can visit the calf daily in their bison yard; the zoo is open every day from 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
