A raccoon climbed into a New
York City Housing Authority apartment in the Allerton section of the Bronx.
A News 12 viewer sent in a
video showing the animal that managed to climb up the scaffolding and into
someone’s second-floor apartment in the Pelham Parkway Houses.
Tenants couldn’t believe a
raccoon was inside the complex on 930 Mace Ave.
The tenant who sent the video
of the animal says she knocked on her neighbor’s apartment, but no one seemed
to be home.
News 12 reached out to NYCHA
about the racoon situation and when the scaffolding is expected to come down.
NYCHA has not yet responded.
