23h agoA man in Roxbury was sentenced to prison for selling drugs and using several post offices in Morris County to mail the drug packages.
During May 2023 and June 2023, officials say they were investigating 21-year-old Eldridge Cruzado, of Kenvil, for distributing various narcotics across the state and country through the delivery of drug packages to several post offices in Morris County.
Prosecutors say several of the packages were seized and a large quantity of lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) was discovered. A search warrant was issued at Cruzado’s residence, and he was later arrested and charged.
Roxbury Township Police Chief Dean Adone said this case originated from a patrol response to a routine call for service. He says after an initial investigation, it was determined that more follow-up was needed.
Cruzado pleaded guilty in November 2023. He was sentenced Friday to 10 years in state prison for distributing LSD.
