Manhattan will soon open a migrant relief center to service newly arriving single adult women and adult families.
This is the third humanitarian emergency response and relief center. It will be located at the Hotel Wolcott in Midtown.
Mayor Eric Adam's office says the estimated number of asylum seekers in the city has surpassed at least 22,600.
The new center will include 175 rooms.
