Snake confiscated from man flaunting Burmese python to Coney Island crowd

Police say a woman was ambushed in Longwood Monday by two people who ended up robbing her and stealing $4,000 from her.

One man walked up to her on Simpson Street followed by another man from the other direction. They told her to follow them and pretend she knew them.

They stopped and while one suspect acted as a lookout, police say the other went through her purse and took $4,000.

Anyone with more information on the suspects is asked to call the NYPD.
