NYPD: 25-year-old man injured in Claremont shooting

A shooting Friday night in Claremont left a 25-year-old man hurt, according to police.

Authorities say it happened around 10 p.m. at 39-70 3rd Drive between East 172 and 173 Streets.

The victim was shot in the torso and left leg. Police say he was hospitalized in stable condition.

The suspect is described as a male wearing a white sweatshirt and black sweatpants.
