Three men were shot Monday night in the area of Bathgate and 181st Street in Belmont.
Authorities say a 21-year-old was shot in the leg just before 9 p.m. A 27-year-old victim was shot in the leg and was grazed by a bullet in his neck. The third victim, a 26-year-old, was shot in the hand.
Police say the three victims went to a hospital about a block away from the scene. They are all in stable condition.
"It's heartbreaking and very worrying," said Tasha Morales, a nearby resident. "My two kids go to day care right here across the street. They can't even go to the park without worrying about someone having a fight and pulling out a gun now days."
The events that led up to the shooting are unclear, according to authorities. No arrests have been made and police say an investigation is ongoing.
