Four people were shot in Coney Island, according to the NYPD.
Police say a 26-year-old male, a 25-year-old-male and an unidentified male were all shot in the legs, and a 17-year-old male was shot in the torso.
Witnesses say shots were fired outside of Thos Deli on the corner of Mermaid Avenue and West 33rd Street.
One employee who works at the pharmacy just a few feet away from where the shooting took place says he visited that same deli this morning.
"Well I just got a sandwich and it was in the same exact spot where people got shot, it is alarming," said Yuriy, the pharmacy employee. "Next time I will be very careful and won’t be going to that location."
Law enforcement officials say a maroon minivan pulled up and fired shots at the group in front of 3222 Mermaid Ave. They are all expected to survive and were taken to NYU Langone Hospital.
No arrests have been made.
