In less than 48 hours, New York’s Bravest and Finest will go bat-to-bat vying for bragging rights, while also knowing they’re raising money for fallen heroes and their families.
For the last 18 years, the charity game has been held at MCU Park in Coney Island, but this year with COVID-19 restrictions, they moved it to Palisades Credit Union Park in Rockland County.
Another change this year is that the game is taking place on Sept. 11.
Their hope is to honor those lost while also providing an enjoyable night and a chance to get away from the day to day.
Proceeds from the game are going to various charities that help families of fallen heroes.
