NYPD seeks public's help identifying Lower East Side assault suspects
yesterdayPolice are asking for help identifying a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman over the weekend in Wakefield.
According to the NYPD, the man entered the home of a 20-year-old woman Saturday morning and sexually assaulted her before running away.
The incident happened in the area of White Plains Road and East 230th Street. Police say the woman was taken to the hospital.
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
