10h agoPolice say P.S. 69 in the Bronx was placed on lockdown due to shots fired in the area Monday morning.
Officers responded to the area of 532 Soundview Ave. after 9 a.m. P.S. 69 was close to the area, and the school went into a brief shelter-in as officers investigated.
Police discovered an unknown suspect discharged a firearm.
There were no injuries reported.
