The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in finding a group they say attacked an 81-year-old in the Bronx.

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in finding a group they say attacked an 81-year-old in the Bronx.
Police say on Aug. 19 around 4:22 a.m., an 81-year-old man was collecting cans on Brook Avenue and East 167th Street when two unknown men and one woman approached him.
When they approached him, one of the men slashed the 81-year-old on the right side of his face.
The suspects fled northbound toward Brook Avenue, according to police.
The victim was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
