2h agoThe alligator found in Prospect Park back in February has died, according to officials.
The female alligator was found in 37 degree water in the lake and was undergoing extensive medical treatment for malnutrition. She had also ingested a bathtub stopper.
The Bronx Zoo says the alligator had anemia and various infections that her body was not strong enough to fight.
