2ds agoAn Ansonia husband and father of three is behind bars after being accused in the fatal stabbing of his wife.
Police say a 3-year-old boy was the first person to meet officers when they arrived at a home on Root Avenue Tuesday afternoon.
The child led them to the kitchen, where they found the 34-year-old woman bleeding profusely. Police say a knife and an axe were found next to her.
Police say the woman's husband, 28-year-old Kamil Zielinski, confessed multiple times - going so far as to beg officers to shoot him.
The children were not hurt.
