Officials say two people, a man and a woman, were charged in connection to the murder of Brandy Odom, whose body was found dismembered in a Brooklyn park.
Odom’s body was found in Canarsie Park on April 9, 2018.
Police say Cory Martin and Adelle Anderson carried out a scheme to obtain life insurance policies by fraudulently misrepresenting the relationship between Anderson and Odom.
Martin and Anderson have been charged with conspiring to commit wire fraud and aggravated identity theft.
