A sidewalk collapsed into the basement of a Bronx day care Tuesday, officials say.

The Department of Buildings says it was called to 531 E. 137th St. Monday morning for a report of a partially collapsed sidewalk into the building.

They say no one was injured at the time of the collapse. The office of Emergency Management says the building was not evacuated and no streets were closed as a result of the incident. 

Officials are investigating the cause and whether the building is structurally stable.
