Westchester County Executive George Latimer congratulated a local dispatcher for three baby deliveries - which were all done over the phone.
Emergency Communications Specialist Matt Hollis answered the call on June 2, when a nervous husband in Tuckahoe reported his wife was about to have a baby at home.
Hollis was able to coach the dad-to-be through the delivery process, and the family had a successful birth to a baby girl.
It was the third time in three years Hollis assisted in a successful childbirth over the phone.
For another job well done, Hollis was given his third "Stork Pin," an award given to Emergency Medical Dispatchers when they assist with a baby delivery.
