The Bronx Brewery kicked off its Oktoberfest celebration Saturday.

The brewery had to cancel its celebration last year because of COVID-19. They say it was not an easy thing to do, since Oktoberfest is one of the biggest annual celebrations for many breweries.

The Bronx Brewery put a uniquely Bronx twist on their drinks and dishes.

Attendees could fill up their steins with “Das Bronx,” the brewery’s seasonal Oktoberfest lager made specially for the event.

The brewery also served up empanadas remixed with German flavors, including a bratwurst filling.
