The Orange County Sheriff's Office has introduced new software for tracking and reporting incidents throughout the department.
The sheriff's office says the software is broken up into three new programs—CI Technologies' IA Pro, Blue Team, and Elcore.
The IA Pro software will monitor officers' activities and track any incidents. From there, it will generate detailed reports on officers' performances.
The Blue Team software will allow the Corrections and Criminal Divisions to report on various incidents like field-level discipline, commendations, complaints, and agency-related car accidents.
Finally, Elcore will take the data from the previous two and give supervisors the chance to perform a peer group analysis.
The sheriff's office adds that the new software was funded by Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler.
