Outdoor dining continues as snow falls in the city

The snow is not stopping outdoor dining from happening in the city today.
A wet, steady snow is hitting the Bronx, but restaurants are still making it work.
News 12’s Joanna Hernandez was in Thunderbolt 12 and traveled to Belmont to find a restaurant that has an igloo-style setup for residents to eat outdoors. People can stay warm inside the bubble and watch the snow fall.
The Department of Sanitation is asking restaurants to prepare for the snow, but not to push any of the snow into the street.
They say it interferes and delays the process for plows to clean the roadways.
They say restaurants owners should shovel the snow against the building or on the curb line.
Sidewalks on the property have to be clean for pedestrians to walk.
Recycling and trash collection could be delayed because trucks will be hitting the streets to clear the snow.
