A lawsuit was filed today against Peloton over injuries a Brooklyn 3-year-old allegedly sustained from a treadmill made by the fitness company.
Sarah Saadoun and Ygal Saadoun filed a civil lawsuit against Peloton that claims their child was dragged underneath the treadmill, which then kept running, and caused third-degree burns to the child as well as emotional trauma.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission warned in April that the Peloton Tread+ poses injury risks to children, and Peloton issued a recall of them in May following a child’s death.
