A Parkchester tradition returned Friday for the first time since before the pandemic hit - the Saint Raymond Elementary School Easter Parade.
Led by the school's marching band and cheerleading squad, the students took to the streets to lead the way for their classmates and children from nearby Easterseals Child Development Center.
School leaders say with all of the challenges schools are facing during the pandemic, events like this parade are the best way to make everyone feel a sense of normalcy again.
