Police are continuing to look for an SUV that struck and killed a 49-year-old man Tuesday on Macy Place.

They say the incident happened around 12 p.m. as the man was crossing the street.

Investigators are looking for a dark-colored sport utility vehicle. They say the person who struck the victim may have dragged his body along with the car, which explains why police found the victim’s clothes along Macy Place.

First responders rushed the victim to Lincoln Hospital where he later died.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
