One person was killed and another is in critical condition after a late-night crash involving an MTA bus in Co-op City, police say.
Police tell News 12 the incident happened before 12 a.m. Saturday in front of the Bartow Avenue bus stop.
They say a Nissan collided with the rear of an MTA bus that was parked at the stop.
The passenger of the Nissan was killed in the crash, and News 12 is told the driver is in critical condition.
News 12 is told a few people on the bus also sustained minor injuries.
There is no word on what caused the crash.
