6h agoInvestigators say a person is dead following a three-car collision on the Belt Parkway overnight.
Authorities say the incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. and involved three cars, with all of the drivers remaining at the scene. A 24-year-old man was taken to a hospital where he died.
It's not clear what exactly caused the deadly crash, but police shut down the westbound lanes of the Belt Parkway from Exit 11N to Exit 9. It has since been reopened.
