Video captured the aftermath of a wild and deadly crash that played out in Mount Sinai Tuesday night.
Police say a McLaren sports car crossed into oncoming traffic on Route 25A near West Gate Drive just before 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The sports car hit a Jeep head-on, according to authorities.
Police say the McLaren driver -- Charles Dassaro, 33, of Rocky Point, was killed. His passenger was seriously injured.
Three people in the Jeep were injured as well, but are expected to survive.
Investigators are now trying to figure out why the sports car drove out of control.
