16h agoTwo people were hurt during a shooting at a Thai restaurant in Prospect Heights, officials say.
News 12 is told the two victims were sitting inside the restaurant Friday at around 9 p.m. when shots were fired.
Police say a 31-year-old man was shot in his left food and a 41-year-old woman was grazed by a bullet below her left eye.
News 12 is told they were taken to the hospital and are in stable condition.
Investigators say they arrested a 17-year-old suspect who is facing weapons charges.
Police say the suspect was also arrested on New Year’s Eve for criminal possession of a loaded firearm and in January 2020 for robbery with a firearm.
