Police say a man was fatally shot in Williamsbridge overnight.
The shooting took place at the corner of East 216th Street and and White Plains Road at around 3:30 a.m.
According to the NYPD, the 40-year-old man was shot in the chest by another man. The victim was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. It's unclear what led to the shooting or the relationship between the two.
The location of the suspect is currently unknown.
