Police have arrested the driver who crashed into an oil truck over the weekend in Hunts Point, killing two passengers and leaving one in critical condition.
The NYPD says it has charged Enrique Lopez for his involvement as the driver in the crash that resulted in the death of 15-year-old Sabrina Villa-Gomez-Gonzalez, of Nanuet, and 21-year-old Gilvante Roberson, of Brooklyn.
Police say the engine from the car involved in this crash was stolen.
The third passenger was 17-year-old Aaliyah Torres, who is still at the hospital in critical condition. Friends say the two teens were best friends and were students at Ramapo High School.
A wake was held Thursday night for Villa-Gomez and a funeral service was being held today in Spring Valley.
Lopez now faces multiple charges, including manslaughter,  criminal possession of stolen property, criminally negligent homicide and endangering the welfare of a child.
