Firefighters respond to basement fire in Kingsbridge
2h agoPolice found a dead body wrapped in a black bag in Brooklyn on Saturday.
Officers say they responded to a 911 call Saturday afternoon to the corner of Van Sinderen Avenue and Herkimer Street, where they found the body wrapped in the bag on the sidewalk.
EMS pronounced the individual dead at the scene.
The identity of the victim is unknown.
The medical examiner will determine the cause of death as the investigation remains ongoing.
