A 31-year-old man from the Bronx was pronounced dead after a two-vehicle crash in Fort Lee early Sunday morning.
Police say it happened on the New Jersey Turnpike's ramp to the southbound lanes around 6:30 a.m. near milepost 121.5.
They say an Acura that was traveling on the off ramp from Route 4 East struck a concrete wall, crossed over a median and hit a Ford, which resulted in both vehicles striking the guardrail.
The Acura driver was pronounced dead. The passenger, a 24-year-old woman from the Bronx, suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.
The driver of the Ford, a 23-year-old man from Elizabeth, suffered minor injuries.
It was not immediately clear what caused the accident as of Sunday night.
