The victim of a fatal shooting at a Brooklyn barbershop has been identified as 45-year-old Peter McCourty, a Brooklyn native.

He was one of two people shot during the May 6 incident.

Police are still searching for the shooter. A preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect approached an outside window of Champion Cuts Barber Shop and shot multiple times into the shop, striking two individuals inside.

No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
