A man has been arrested in connection to the unprovoked assault of actor Rick Moranis, police say.

They say Marquis Ventura, 35, is facing assault charges for the attack that occurred on Oct. 1

Authorities say Moranis, 67, was walking southbound on Central Park West in Manhattan, when the suspect blindsided him with the attack.

Police say the "Ghostbusters" actor took himself to the hospital before filing a police report.
