Police are searching for a person who beat and robbed a man at a Mott Haven gas station.
.According to police, the carjacking happened on Monday Feb. 24 at 6:30 p.m.
They say a 36-year-old man was pumping gas at the BP gas station when a person approached him and began punching him multiple times.
He fell to the floor and then the thief took off with the victim's 2021 Lincoln Navigator.
Police say the victim was treated at the hospital for minor injuries.
